"... Sad hours seem long." - Romeo

Assignment. We had to illustrate a quote that the teacher gave us.

Made this for a class other then Art (ironic). My hands hurt now, but when I did this, it didn't hurt.. weird, huh? But I was kinda in a trace-like state. I didn't really register much, but the art. This is what came out of it.

Still on the hitatus for a lot of the same reasons. But someone offered very good logic, and I decided to show it off here. I'm kinda proud of it. This is the first peice I've been proud of for a very, very long time. So.. what do you all think?

Please do not critique this. I can see what is wrong with it, and I honestly don't care.

You know you were supposed to base it off of the context of the words in the play, right?

Just checking.

Still, a good picture... beats the hell out of mine.

Not really. She told us we had to illustrate the quote. This is what came to mind. When someone drew the stars/mountain/face quote, she said it's an easy one; all you got to do is do a picture of stars and mountains. And if that's not what she meant.. fuck it, this is what she means now. Like hell I'm redoing it. :3 I'll just say I didn't understand it all the way.

Thanks. and what's yours, did you do it yet?

I used Painter nine, the airbrush tool, Artist Oils, and one of the blenders in the Artist Oils thing.

Very very nice. What makes it mean more is that you did lose yourself in it. On a weird and kinda pleasant side note, in my Religious studies course, the professor used that kind of deep concentration as an example of a touch of Nirvana. Congrats friend, your on the way to enlightenment :D

If life gives you lemons, make grapejuice then sit back and let the world wonder how the hell you did it.
